Olight Osight SE DPP is an enclosed red dot sight manufactured by Olight, a company known for its high-quality flashlights, headlamps and weapon lights. The SE DPP is a larger version of the popular Osight SE, designed specifically for pistols and mounting plates using the DPP (DeltaPoint Pro) footprint. Compared with the more compact RMSc version, the DPP model features a larger lens, making the dot easier to acquire and allowing a faster sight picture.

Olight Osight SE DPP is a battery-powered (1 x CR1620) red dot sight designed especially for DPP-compatible pistols. It is an excellent choice for sport shooting, training and professional use. Unlike traditional iron sights, the Osight not only speeds up aiming but also allows the shooter to keep both eyes open while maintaining focus on the target – the reticle appears over the target without the need to shift visual focus to the front sight. The larger sight window of the DPP version makes the dot easier to acquire during fast presentations, while the firearm is moving under recoil and when shooting from challenging positions.

The red reticle of the Osight SE DPP consists of a 2 MOA dot and a 32 MOA circle, which can be used either together or separately. The crisp, bright reticle and large 23 x 18 mm lens allow the sight to be adapted to a wide variety of applications. The aspherical lens is designed to minimise optical distortion and provide a clear, parallax-free sight picture. Unlike open-emitter red dot sights, the enclosed design of the DPP protects the light emitter that creates the aiming point from rain, snow and dirt, ensuring reliable operation even in demanding conditions.

Offering up to 75,000 hours of battery life, the sight is powered by a single CR1620 battery. The battery compartment opens from the side of the sight, allowing the battery to be replaced without removing the sight from the firearm or disturbing the zero. A motion sensor automatically switches the sight to sleep mode when it is not in use and reactivates the reticle as soon as movement is detected. The memory function restores the last-used brightness setting. The housing is made from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminium alloy, and the sight has an IPX7 waterproof rating.

Quick guide

• On/Off: Turn the sight on by pressing either button (+ or -). Turn the sight off by pressing and holding the + and - buttons simultaneously.
• Reticle selection: Choose between a 2 MOA dot + 32 MOA circle, 2 MOA dot only, or 32 MOA circle only.
• Brightness adjustment: Brightness is adjusted using the + and - buttons. The sight remembers the last-used brightness setting and restores it when activated.
• Motion sensor: When the motion sensor is enabled, the sight automatically enters sleep mode after remaining stationary for approximately 3 minutes and reactivates immediately when movement is detected.
• Battery replacement: The CR1620 battery is replaced through the battery compartment on the side of the housing, so the sight does not need to be removed from the firearm when changing the battery.
