The Olight Osight K-RD is a battery-operated (1 x CR1620) red dot sight designed specifically for pistols, which is well suited for fast-paced and close-range shooting. The K-RD is equipped with a 6 MOA red dot, which covers a larger area than the 3 MOA dot, making aiming and locking on to a target faster, especially at close range. The biggest advantage of a red dot sight compared to traditional iron sights is, in addition to speed, that you can keep both eyes open and focused on the target, and when the weapon is brought in front of your eyes, the dot appears precisely on the target, allowing you to aim without changing the focus of your eyes (with iron sights, you should focus your eyes on the front edge). The sharp and clear pattern, wide brightness settings, very long operating time and large lens allow you to customize the sight to suit all types of situations. With Osight K-RD, finding the target image even in difficult positions is much easier than with traditional iron sights.

The Osight K-RD's shock-resistant and waterproof body is made of aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum alloy, which is more durable but still nearly as light as standard aluminum alloys.   Osight K-RD is therefore durable even under heavy use and is a reliable companion even for demanding users. The sight operates on a single CR1620 battery, which offers a very long operating time, as for example, when using the dot-reticle pattern (without a ring) in power mode 3 (the dimmest day setting), it operates for up to a whopping 63,000 hours, or over 7 years at a time. When the battery is low, the sight flashes the red crosshair three times every minute to indicate low battery voltage. The battery compartment opens from the side of the sight, so changing the battery is easy and does not require removing the sight from the weapon.

Quick Guide

• On/Off: Turn the scope on by pressing either switch (+ or -) once. Turn the scope off by pressing both switches simultaneously for about 1 second.
• Brightness adjustment: The brightness of the red dot sight is adjusted using the + and - keys.
• Motion Sensor: The motion sensor on the red dot sight can be turned on or off by double-clicking the minus switch and pressing it all the way down for more than 3 seconds. The dot will flash once to indicate that the motion sensor is on and twice to indicate that it is off. When the sensor is on, the sight will turn itself off after 3 minutes of inactivity and will turn on automatically when the sight moves.
• Battery Level Indicator: When the battery power gets too low, the reticle will flash three times every minute. When the battery indicator starts flashing, replace the battery immediately.
