Petzl R2 is a lightweight and compact rechargeable Li-ion spare battery for Petzl Duo S and Duo RL headlamps. With a capacity of 3200 mAh, it matches the original battery supplied with the headlamp. The battery is quick and easy to remove and reinstall, allowing fast battery changes even in the middle of a workday. Excellent performance at low temperatures and an IP67 rating make the battery a reliable choice for dusty, wet and demanding operating conditions.
The battery must be charged before first use. An LED indicator on top of the battery shows the remaining charge level at a glance. Only the Petzl Quick Charger may be used for charging, and no extension cable may be connected between the charger and the battery. The battery can be stored connected to the quick charger, keeping it ready for use at all times. To maintain battery performance, it is recommended to use the battery regularly.
