The Nitecore Low Temperature 18650 battery is an exceptional replacement battery for flashlights and headlamps when used in extremely low temperatures. The low temperature battery operates down to -40°C without freezing, while many lower quality Li-ion batteries can freeze due to cold. At -40°C the battery still has 75% capacity left. Compatible with all devices that use 18650-Li-ion batteries. The battery is charged in an external charger or inside the lamp, for example if it supports internal charging.

The stated max. the discharge current is exceptionally high (8A), so the battery works even with devices that require high current-carrying power due to its high brightness.
