AGGE Wide Surface is a 100 cm or 200 cm long surface-mounted aluminum profile for LED strips, which allows for very clean and easy installation of lighting solutions using light strips. Using this profile, one or two max. 10 mm wide light strips can be installed. can be installed on any flat surface, such as as a task light in a kitchen space or as mood light in a bedroom. Thanks to the profile, the light strip does not curl or dangle, but the installation is a stylish and discreet part of the home interior even when the strip is not on.
The profile can be shortened to the desired length, for example using a hacksaw or circular saw, and if necessary, long units can also be built from the profiles by installing several profiles in a row. The profile has a stylish opal dome on top, which diffuses the light, making it considerably softer than when using a bare LED strip, making the light more pleasant to the eye. In addition, the opal dome protects the light strip from splashes. If desired, two 8 mm or 10 mm light strips can be installed side by side in this aluminum profile, which doubles the light output of the strip, but of course it can also be used with just one LED strip when you want to use a wider mounting strip, e.g. for purely aesthetic reasons.
The light strip is easy to place inside the profile without any special tools, after which the aluminum profile can be placed in the desired position. The aluminum profile effectively conducts the heat generated by the LED strip away, which also extends the service life of the light strip. The package also includes two end caps, one of which is closed and the other has a ready-made hole for the LED strip to pass through. The profile is easy to attach to practically any surface, either by using the fasteners provided or by drilling screws (not included) directly through the profile before installing the strip.
This aluminium profile is suitable for all LED strips up to 21 mm wide (AGGE 230V strips do not fit inside the profile due to their thickness).
