The Purelux Panther S400 is a completely exceptional and highly efficient auxiliary light panel, designed specifically for heavy equipment mask installations. What makes this auxiliary light interesting is its two different power modes, each equipped with a unique beam: one for poor road conditions and the other for situations requiring maximum light output. The more moderate power mode is approved for road traffic use, and when used, the beam is very tightly limited at the top (reduces glare, e.g. in snow or rain) and exceptionally wide in width. In the unlimited PowerBoost® mode, the low and wide beam remains active, but in addition, the upper edge of the beam is also activated, which significantly increases light output and range . In PowerBoost® mode, the Panther S400 White delivers up to 10,472 lumens of light output and a range of 466 meters (@ 1 lux), meaning that even though the light is shorter than normal (40 cm), it does not give larger panels a leveling off in performance. The panel's white body ensures a perfect installation in light-colored vehicles.

The Panther S400 White panel also includes an orange or white parking light and an orange warning light approved for road traffic according to the R65 Class 1 standard, which can be used, for example, in special transport, when the vehicle is moving from the road to the construction site or for example in traffic control. The bright warning light will not go unnoticed by anyone, so the safety of those working on the vehicle and those passing by is guaranteed without separate warning lights. The warning light can be installed, for example, behind a separate switch, so that it can be used whenever needed. In addition, several lights can be synchronized with each other, so that they can be flashed at the same time. Versatile features, handy size, great design and easily adaptable spotlights to the conditions make this panel excellent, especially for truck mask installations or on the roof, but it can also be installed in passenger cars.

Note! The difference between Purelux PowerBoost® and road mode is clearly noticeable in use - PowerBoost mode is significantly more efficient and should not be used when driving in normal road traffic, only off-road.

The Panther S400 White has been designed to maximize the benefits of additional lighting, especially for professional drivers, and for this reason, in addition to two different power modes, it has also been introduced with two different beams. The light beam, which is precisely defined at the top edge of the road traffic mode, is optimized for challenging road conditions, such as fog and rain or snow. The light beam, which is cut off at the top edge, does not blind the driver unnecessarily by illuminating a wall of fog floating in the air, whipping water droplets or dusty snowflakes, but all the light is directed onto the road to ensure a clear driving path. The extra wide beam illuminates the road from side to side right from the front. When you want to maximize the light output and visibility, the light can be activated for PowerBoost®, which makes the light beam higher and illuminates the road much further. Because the Panther S400 is equipped with two completely different operating modes, it also has two power cables and separate connectors for each power mode, which allows the light to be connected in such a way that the power modes can be changed directly from the cockpit using switches.

In addition to the two different light beams, one feature of the panel that significantly improves the driving experience is its neutral 5000 Kelvin color temperature. Neutral color temperature is optimal for road traffic, as it makes it easier to observe terrain shapes and obstacles, and it does not distort the color of objects. In addition, it dazzles less from snow cover or cool tones in fog and rain, for example, and reduces eye strain. The 5000K color temperature is excellent for newer cars that have LED or Xenon lights as standard, and also brings the desired brightness and sharpness alongside traditional halogen lights.

The Panther S400 White is an additional light designed specifically for professional drivers and heavy equipment, created to cope with challenging conditions. Slightly shorter than the most popular size class, this panel allows for the installation of several lights in parallel on trucks, vans, plowing equipment, construction machinery, tractor roofs and other larger vehicles. Thanks to its excellent size-to-power ratio, the light can also be installed on regular passenger cars, and thanks to two different power modes and two different beams, the Panther S400 White is a versatile choice both on and off-road.

Purelux has raised the quality standards of lights to a high level, so the Panther S400 is also designed to withstand both environmental and man-made stresses. This is evidenced by, among other things, the highest possible tightness rating (IP69K), a practically unbreakable Lexan polycarbonate lens, a frame made of strong aluminum and a special coating that guarantees the panel excellent resistance to UV radiation, corrosion, chemicals and changing weather conditions. In addition to protection, the high-quality coating also gives the panel body a slightly shiny surface that exudes dignity, quality and style. The great overall look is crowned by black mounting screws and dark optics, which also continue in the parking light, ensuring elegance even when the panel is turned off.

The light is supplied with both traditional end feet and width-adjustable rail brackets below the luminaire. Installation is made easier by the two power cables in the panel, which have their own connectors for different power modes: a DT-2 connector for road-approved mode and a DTP connector for unlimited power mode. The own connectors enable easy connection of the power modes to separate switches or, for example, behind a switch panel, so that the power mode and thus also the beam can be changed whenever necessary by simply pressing a button directly from the cab. The wide operating voltage range (9-36V) enables installation in both 12V and 24V systems, and the low reference number (20) enables installation alongside all standard lights without having to remove the original lights from use! In addition, the luminaire is radio interference-protected in accordance with ECE R10 and CISPR25 Class 3 standards. Two-year (24 month) warranty!

Coupling

Synchronization and warning light functions:
