OSRAM BATTERYjumpstart 1250A is a versatile 3-in-1 jump starter that combines powerful starting assistance, an integrated air compressor and a 12,000 mAh power bank in one compact device. With a maximum starting current of up to 1250 A, it is suitable for 12 V vehicles with petrol engines up to 6.0 litres or diesel engines up to 2.8 litres. The BOOST function also allows starting assistance to be provided to a completely discharged 0 V battery, offering extra security in situations such as winter cold, longer journeys and unexpected roadside emergencies.
The jump leads are equipped with intelligent battery clamps and safety functions that protect against reverse polarity, short circuits and voltage spikes. Clear light and sound indicators help ensure correct and safe operation. The built-in compressor makes it easy to inflate tyres on the road, eliminating the need to carry a separate tyre inflator. According to the manufacturer, the compressor can inflate a tyre from 0 bar to 2.4 bar (35 psi) in approximately 3.5 minutes, making it well suited both for maintaining tyre pressures and for situations where a tyre quickly needs additional air.
BATTERYjumpstart 1250A also works as a power bank for phones and other USB devices, while USB-A and USB-C connections provide versatile charging options on the go. The integrated LED light provides additional illumination for tasks such as working in the engine bay, dealing with a flat tyre or handling other situations in the dark. Quick guide
Jump starting:
- Make sure the vehicle ignition is switched off and the jump starter is sufficiently charged.
- Connect the jump leads to the jump starter.
- Attach the red battery clamp to the positive terminal (+) of the battery and the black battery clamp to the grounding point specified in the vehicle instructions.
- Check the indicator light to make sure the connection is correct and the device is ready for starting.
- Start the vehicle. If the engine does not start, follow the manufacturer’s instructions before making another starting attempt.
- Once the engine has started, disconnect the black battery clamp first, followed by the red battery clamp.
BOOST function: The BOOST function can be used if the vehicle battery is completely discharged. Use this function only in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and make sure the battery clamps are connected correctly before activating it.
Air compressor: Connect the air hose to the tyre valve, set the desired tyre pressure and start the compressor. Always use the tyre pressure recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
Charging: BATTERYjumpstart 1250A is charged via the USB-C port. The USB-A and USB-C outputs can also be used, for example, to charge mobile phones.
