Headlamp Unilite HL-8R - 475 lm / Rechargeable

The Unilite HL-8R is a compact and lightweight rechargeable headlamp, whose versatile features and exceptionally durable construction make it the perfect choice for both demanding work and leisure use. The lamp has both a narrow and wide beam, which allows it to be used for close-up work and as a general light, as well as in situations where you want to illuminate slightly further away objects or, for example, a narrow tunnel or corridor. The HL-8R produces a maximum light output of 475 lumens, and when using the spot beam, the beam has a range of a respectable 90 meters. When using the wide beam, the range is 25 meters, but its width is enough to illuminate the entire immediate environment evenly on both sides of the user.

Weighing just over a hundred grams, the HL-8R does not put strain on the forehead, and its soft and flexible headband finished with grippy silicone stays firmly on the head even when you are going at a faster pace. In addition, the silicone on the inside of the headband prevents sweat from dripping from the forehead into the eyes, making this lamp a good companion even for sweaty workdays or, why not, for heart-pumping runs. The lamp currently offers up to 35 hours of continuous runtime at a time, and charging is possible via a modern and fast-charging USB-C port.

The lamp can be easily operated even with gloves on using two large push-button switches on the lamp head. In addition, the lamp has an integrated ambient light sensor that adjusts the light output to suit the situation, making it possible to use the lamp even in situations where both hands are needed, e.g. for working. The 60° adjustable lighting angle also makes it easier to use. Unilite is known for its durable and high-quality lamps, and the HL-8R is no exception. The lamp is water and dustproof according to the IP65 classification, and it is also IK07-rated for impact resistance, and it can withstand a drop from 1 meter. Quick guide

The luminaire has two switches: a MODE switch and a SENSOR switch. The MODE switch on the right is used to operate the power and operating modes, and the SENSOR switch on the left can be used to turn the sensor on or off.

MODE switch: Press the right-hand switch once to turn on the light. After that, each press will cycle through the modes as follows:

Narrow beam -> Wide beam (Low) -> Wide beam (Medium) -> Wide beam (High) -> Off.

Sensor: Press the switch on the left to activate the sensor (the red light will flash to indicate that the sensor is on). After this, the lamp can be turned off or on by waving your hand in front of the lamp head (from a distance of approx. 10 cm). To turn off the sensor, press the sensor button on the top of the lamp head.

The lamp is equipped with a memory function, meaning it always lights up in the last power mode used, both when turned on with the switch and when using the sensor.
