The Petzl Tikka Core is a compact, rechargeable headlamp that provides a wide and extensive combination beam of light with a maximum light output of 450 lumens. The Tikka Core is an excellent companion for daily chores, working, jogging or hiking. When hiking, it is suitable for hiking sections, setting up camp, as well as for reading and relaxing in a tent at the end of the day. It is also a great helper for practically all types of close-up work that requires wide and even illumination of the surrounding area. The Tikka Core is really easy to use, as all its functions can be operated via one large button. The button is large and integrated into the structure of the lamp so that it is difficult to press it accidentally, and the lamp cannot turn on by itself as easily. In addition, the lamp also has a button lock, which prevents the lamp from turning on accidentally, for example when it is in a backpack.

The lamp is equipped with three different power modes and a flashing and constantly lit red light, which preserves night vision and does not dazzle passers-by. The red light is also great for admiring the starry sky or the northern lights when hiking, as the red light does not obscure the lights in the sky. The lamp's lighting angle can be adjusted up and down, allowing the light to be directed exactly in the desired direction. This is useful, for example, when working or climbing. The Tikka Core lamp weighs a mere 84 grams, so it can be carried on your head for long distances without being noticed. Thanks to its super-lightweight construction, it is also well suited for use by children. The small TIkka Core easily slips into a backpack or jacket pocket when not in use, meaning you can carry the lamp with you practically anywhere and anytime!

When darkness falls, the lamp is easy to dig out of the bottom of your backpack or find at the campsite or workplace thanks to the phosphorescent frame around the LED that glows in the dark. The well-thought-out design is topped off by the lamp's headband, which is finished with reflective details. This way, the lamp also works as your companion when moving around in urban areas and improves your visibility among motorists. With the included storage bag, the headlamp can also be turned into a lantern in no time, so only your imagination is the limit when it comes to using the lamp! Quick guide

On/Off: Press the power button to turn the light on or off. The light will automatically turn on at the lowest power setting.

Adjusting the power mode: When the light is on, press the power switch to change the power mode. The modes change in the following order: Low -> Mid -> High -> Off.

Red light: Press and hold the power switch for 2 seconds to activate a solid red light. Press the power switch once to activate a red flash. Press and hold the power switch for 2 seconds to return to white light.

Key lock: When the light is off, press and hold the power button for 4 seconds to activate the key lock. Press the power button 4 times or press and hold it for 4 seconds to deactivate the key lock.

Charging: Connect one end of the USB-C cable (not included) to the battery charging port and the other end to a suitable power source or an AC outlet using the AC adapter. The battery indicator light will be red during charging and will turn green when the battery is fully charged. The battery will fully charge in approximately 3.5 hours.

Battery indicator: The light has a battery indicator that shows the remaining capacity. The light will enter power saving mode when the battery capacity is less than 10%. The remaining capacity is displayed as follows:

• Green light: battery charge over 50%
• Orange light: battery charge 50–10%
• Red light: battery charge below 10%
