Headlamp Petzl PIXA R® - 600 lm / Rechargeable

The Petzl PIXA R® is a shock-, water- and dust-resistant rechargeable headlamp designed for demanding work in industry, construction and mining. The headlamp offers three different beam options: narrow and long-range, wide and flat, and a combination of these. The adjustable beam makes it easy to adapt the lighting to the current working situation without unnecessary compromises. Unlike many other headlamps, the PIXA R is equipped with CONSTANT LIGHTING technology, which means that the light output does not gradually drop during use, but remains constant throughout the entire period of use. This ensures that the lighting does not become too weak for the task or environment at any point. The BOOST function, designed for momentary use, allows you to activate a maximum light output of 600 lumens in situations where more light output is needed than normal.

The robust PIXA R® lamp is impact-resistant according to the IK08 classification, meaning that it will not break if it hits a stalactite or rock in a cave, for example, when passing through a shallow tunnel. In addition, the lamp can withstand a drop from 2 meters and being stepped on by a person/object weighing 80 kg. The lamp is also resilient to certain chemicals (90% alcohol, bleach, mineral turpentine, hexane, silicone paste), and can withstand immersion in water 2 meters deep for up to an hour.

All functions of the lamp are operated from one large lever switch, which is easy to use even with gloves on. The lamp head can be tilted up or down, allowing the light beam to be directed in a direction away from the eye. The lamp is powered by a rechargeable Core Pro battery, which has a capacity of 1250 mAh. The battery is easy to charge by turning the lamp head around and connecting the included charging cable to the integrated battery behind the lamp head. The lamp comes with a headband made of flexible and soft material and a SLOT ADAPT helmet mount, which allows the lamp to be attached to a Petzlin Professional series work helmet. The lamp is also compatible with the Petzlin HELMET ADAPT mount (not included), which allows it to be attached to other helmets as well. Five-year (60-month) warranty!

Quick guide

On/Off: Turn the switch down for 2 seconds to turn the light on. Turn the switch up for 2 seconds to turn it off.

Mode selection: The light starts with a wide beam. To change the beam, pull the switch down briefly, which will cycle through the beams with each stroke as follows: Wide beam -> Combination 1 -> Combination 2 -> Narrow beam. If you want to return to the previous mode while browsing, pull the switch up briefly, which will activate the previous mode.

Key lock: With the light off, turn the light head around so that the lens is facing your forehead. Press the light head towards your head until you hear a click. The click indicates that the key lock has been activated. To unlock the key lock, pull the light head slightly away from your forehead until it clicks again and you can turn it back the right way up.

Charging: Turn the light head over and connect one end of the included charging cable to the magnetic charging port and the other end to a USB-C port on your computer, for example. The charging cable indicator light will be red when charging is in progress and will turn green when charging is complete.

Battery charge indicator: The light is equipped with a battery charge indicator that indicates the remaining power as follows:

• Green light: Battery charge above 50%
• Orange light: Battery charge 10-50%
• Red light: Battery charge below 10%
