The Fenix HM53R is a compact rechargeable headlamp with a combination beam pattern and a maximum light output of 1200 lumens, making it ideal for work, running, outdoor and hiking activities. In addition to the white light, the headlamp also has a separate red light, which can be used in situations where you want to preserve your night vision as much as possible. It works much more effectively than bright white light, for example when reading maps for orienteering, photographing nature at night or observing the stars. The compact headlamp weighs only 102 grams, so it won't weigh you down even if you use it all day long. The headlamp is also easy to remove from the headband, transforming it into a flashlight - so it's a real multi-purpose headlamp!
At maximum light output, the lamp's beam reaches 158 meters. The light spreads evenly and widely into the surrounding area, making it easy to work and move safely in the dark within the beam area. The lamp comes with a breathable and flexible headband that is easy to adjust to fit any head. The pocket clip integrated into the body allows you to attach the light to, for example, a breast pocket, backpack, cap or belt, and thanks to the magnetic rear cap, the lamp can also be attached to any metal surface, freeing your hands for work.
All functions of the lamp are controlled by a large push button, which is easy to operate even with padded gloves. The lamp is powered by a rechargeable 1600 mAh battery, which offers up to 135 hours of continuous operation in the lowest power mode. In addition to the battery, the lamp can also be used with CR123A batteries, so it is easy to keep the lamp ready for use around the clock. The lamp body is made of durable aluminum, the surface of which is finished with a hard-anodized coating to ensure maximum durability. The lamp is also fully protected from water and dust according to the IP68 rating, and the impact-resistant structure ensures reliable operation even if the lamp is hit and knocked during its journey.

* In Turbo mode, the light output is automatically reduced when necessary to limit heat generation. The stated operating time also includes the time when the brightness is reduced.
Quick Guide
On/Off: Press the side button for 0.5 seconds to turn the light on or off.
White light: When the light is off, press and hold the side button for 0.5 seconds to activate the white light. A short press will cycle through the power modes: Eco → Low → Mid → High → Turbo. The light has a memory function, meaning it will always start up in the last power mode used (excluding turbo).
Red light: When the light is off, double-click the side button to activate the red light. A short press will switch the power mode as follows: Low → High → Flashing.
Key lock: When the light is off, activate the key lock by pressing the side button for 3 seconds. The light will flash four times at low brightness to indicate that the key lock is activated. Unlock the key lock in the same way.
Charging: Open the protective cover over the USB-C port and connect one end of the included USB-C cable to the USB port on the light and the other end to a power outlet, e.g. with a power adapter. The battery indicator light will be red during charging and will turn green when the battery is full. Charging time is approximately 2.5 hours with a minimum 5 V/1 A USB charger.
