Flashlight Nitecore R40 V2, 1000 lm

The Nitecore R40 V2 is a highly efficient and solidly built flashlight specially developed for police, hunting and rescue work. The manufacturer states a luminous flux of 1000 lumens and a range of 520 meters! The lamp body is designed to provide a stable and steady grip. The included wrist strap also helps keep the lamp in place. The lamp is protected against water and dust according to IP68 classification, which means that it can withstand really hard knocks!

The lamp is easily charged in the inductive charging dock. You simply take the lamp out of the doll and place it in the included holster. After use, you can click the lamp back into the dock, whereupon charging starts automatically. In this way, you can ensure that the lamp is always fully charged before the next use! The lamp is supplied with two charging docks, one for wall mounting and one for flat surfaces, as well as adapters for mains and cigarette sockets. The same lamp can therefore have two charging points, e.g. in the car and on the desk. The lamp can also be charged on a slightly more traditional USB-C cable (included in the package) via the bottom part's USB port. The efficient 5000 mAh battery provides a burning time of between 2 hours (at the highest setting) and a full 1200 hours (at the lowest setting). The lamp is controlled by two different switches: one for the current and one for the power modes. The power switch can be used to turn the lamp on and off, as well as to activate the lowest power mode. The power mode switch is used to switch between the power modes, and can also be used to directly activate the highest mode (1000 lumens) when the lamp is off.

Quick guide

On off

Press the bottom switch once to turn the lamp on and off.

Change effect mode

When the light is on, press the top switch to cycle through the power modes in the following order: Ultralow - Low - Medium - High - Turbo. The last used effect mode is saved in the lamp's "memory". The High and Ultralow modes can be activated directly without having to press the switch several times. The High mode is activated by holding down the upper switch when the lamp is off, and the Ultralow mode is activated in the same way by the lower switch.

Strobe/Beacon/SOS

Press and hold the top switch (power modes) when the light is off to activate Strobe mode. The following presses of the switch toggle between the power modes in the following order: Beacon - SOS - Strobe. Press the power mode switch once to return to the normal modes. You can activate Strobe mode momentarily by double-clicking the power mode switch when the light is off.

Button lock

Hold down both switches until the light flashes to activate the key lock. Repeat to disable the key lock.
