Nitecore EDC23 is a powerful tactical flashlight with a unique design language, the features of which are suitable for both leisure and work. The lamp's amazingly small size, maximum light output of up to 2500 lumens and flat and thin design make it an excellent EDC lamp for everyday use. The light beam is a combination of both a range and a rich diffused light that illuminates the surrounding area widely, and at maximum power the beam can reach up to 280 meters. Thanks to its excellent size/power ratio, the lamp is excellently suited for both close work and search tasks, and outside of work it works both for taking care of everyday chores and as a companion on e.g. runs or trips. The pocket-sized EDC23 works with a built-in 1500 mAh battery, which offers operation time at the lowest power mode for up to 39 hours at a time.

Thanks to the innovative and flat design, the body of the EDC23 is only less than 2 cm thick, and the light also has a steel clip that can be attached to e.g. a belt or the edge of a pocket, and it does not swing on the road like traditional flashlights. The unique design also gives the lamps an elegant appearance and facilitates handling. An OLED screen is skillfully embedded in the body of the lamp, which shows the battery voltage, the power mode in use, the selected operating mode and the remaining operating time in real time. The lamp is operated with two rear switches; with power and power mode switches, and the battery can be modernly charged via the USB-C charging port integrated into the frame.

EDC23's advanced APC system (Advanced Power Cut-Off Technology) optimizes performance by minimizing power consumption whenever the lamp is in sleep mode. This makes the lamp both a reliable partner and extends the charging interval of the battery, which is a desirable feature especially for work use. The EDC23 is shockproof and, according to the IP54 classification, protected against dust and splashing water. Quick guide

On/Off: Turn on the light by pressing the power button on the back of the light once. Turn off the lamp in the same way.

Changing the power mode: When the light is on, press the power button halfway, then the power modes will rotate with each press in the following order: Ultralow -> Low -> Mid -> High. After the first use, the light turns on in the power mode it was last used in (excluding Turbo), so the power modes start rotating from the power mode currently in use.

Turbo: The turbo power mode can be activated momentarily by pressing the lamp's power switch halfway down. Turbo can be activated in any power mode and also when the lamp is switched off. The OLED display of the lamp tells you the remaining operating time of the Turbo function, when it runs out the lamp automatically returns to the last used power mode. So it is intended for momentary use only.

Strobe: Press and hold the Mode button down to turn on the strobe function. Release the switch to return to the previously used power mode.

Key lock: The lamp has two different key locks - Semi Lockout Mode (Lockout 1) and Full Lockout Mode (Lockout 2). When the light is on, press and hold the power button and slide the Lockout switch up. Release the power switch when the SEMI LOCK icon appears on the screen. If the Lockout 1 key lock is in use, the light's On/Off switch is disabled, but the Strobe flash and Turbo power mode can still be used. To enable Full Lockout Mode, slide the Lockout switch down, turn on the light, and slide the Lockout switch back up. Full Lockout Mode can also be activated directly by sliding the Lockout switch up while the light is on or off. In this case, the text FULL LOCK appears on the screen. The key lock is opened by sliding the Lockout switch down.

Charging: Connect one end of the supplied USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the lamp, and the other end to, for example, a computer or mains adapter. The charging progress can be monitored via the battery icon on the OLED display of the light.
