Purelux Heat 9200 (V24) is a completely unique round auxiliary light designed exclusively for heavy-duty 24V vehicle systems. It combines outstanding performance, features to conquer the long and dark winters, and functions that significantly enhance the driving experience, all within a single auxiliary light! Purelux Heat 9200 (V24) boasts a modern design with dark optics and a frameless construction, but what truly sets this auxiliary light apart are its heated lens, two-tone parking lights, and two different power modes easily switched via a button. The power mode can be seamlessly switched from the E-marked mode approved for road traffic (E-approved) to the unrestricted Purelux PowerBoost® mode, which surpasses E-mark requirements and unleashes full power! With Purelux PowerBoost® mode, the auxiliary light delivers a measured light output of 10,419 lumen with a measured range of 553 meters (1 @lux)!

Thanks to advanced reflector technology and efficient LEDs, it creates a perfectly combined light pattern that illuminates both broadly and far ahead of the vehicle. Despite a gentler vertical cut-off, there's sufficient diffuse light for driving in uneven terrain. The auxiliary light's wide beam effectively illuminates the road's narrow surfaces, allowing for early detection of, for instance, animals that might jump onto the road. With its PowerBoost® mode, the auxiliary light is also suitable for off-road vehicles and heavy machinery requiring extra power. Regardless of the vehicle type, Purelux Heat 9200 enhances the driving experience and improves road safety – an excellent choice for both professional and private use.

Purelux PowerBoost® - Most auxiliary lights sold today come with what is known as an E-marking. This signifies that the auxiliary lights must be power-limited to meet the traffic approval requirements in certain European countries. These regulations may not apply to every country; some countries might have special exceptions. To comply with these regulations, manufacturers produce auxiliary lights with E-markings, enabling them to be sold throughout the entire European market. Consequently, the output is limited in nearly all additional lights. However, by activating the PowerBoost® mode, you can bypass the E-marking and unleash the full potential of the auxiliary lights when the approval is not needed, in for example offroad or rally uses.

Purelux Heat 9200's features have been developed to withstand the challenging weather conditions in the North, where year-round use is essential. You can connect Purelux Heat 9200 to heat the lens either when the vehicle is running, even if the auxiliary light is not active, or in the traditional way when the auxiliary light is turned on. This allows you to preheat the lens in your driveway or on a road that doesn't require the auxiliary light, so it's ready when you enter a dark environment and activate the auxiliary light. Additionally, this function prevents the lens from freezing if the auxiliary light needs to be turned off during a journey, such as on an illuminated road section or when driving behind another vehicle. Purelux Heat 9200 uses a unique, energy-efficient technology to heat the lens: the heating elements are placed on both sides of the auxiliary light and conduct heat through the tempered glass lens to the entire front of the lens. The glass surface conducts heat significantly more efficiently than polycarbonate, allowing the lens to heat up quickly and effectively. Depending on the connection, the resistors are automatically activated either when the vehicle or the auxiliary light itself starts (or, if desired, the heat can be connected behind a separate switch), and they automatically turn off when the temperature rises above 70°C.

The Heat 9200's light beam is wider than that of conventional round auxiliary lights, and it spreads light from the bright, laterally wide main beam efficiently over the entire width of the road. In the vertical direction, the beam is softly delimited, so it does not illuminate the treetops of the trees or the shiny asphalt whipped by the autumn rains, but focuses all the light exactly where it is needed: far ahead and wide to the sides of the road. One of the factors that significantly improves the driving experience is also the light's color temperature of 5000 Kelvin, which is optimal for road traffic, as it makes it easier, for example, observation of terrain forms and obstacles, and does not reflect blinding brightness from nature's white snow cover into the driver's eyes. In addition, the neutral color temperature works better than cool shades in bad weather conditions and helps keep your eyes sharp in the seemingly endless darkness.

Heat's dark-speaking profile and optics, the orange or white parking light burning wonderfully in the middle of the light, and the heating resistors of the lens that blend elegantly into the front profile make the light a finished and modern addition to any vehicle. Although many cakes are beautiful on the outside, with Heat you should not worry about this, because although the light is spectacular, it is also very durable. The body of the lamp is made of powder-coated and UV-protected aluminum, and the tempered glass lens withstands considerably better than polycarbonate e.g. scratches from branches, stone hits and other lens-scratching factors that cannot be avoided while driving. The front part of the light is designed completely flat, i.e. there is no frame around the lens that collects snow, ice or dirt, so it stays clean better even in bad weather conditions.

Unlike many other round lights, the body of the Heat 9200 is remarkably thin in the depth direction, so the light is easy to install e.g. for hard-to-shape bumpers. In addition, the light installation leg is placed directly under the light, i.e. it does not increase the installation width, which enables the lights to be installed completely side by side if necessary. The installation is facilitated by the 2-pole DTP connector already in place in the lamp's power cord, as well as the ready-made plus wires from the power cord to the parking lights and the lens heating function. The light is intended to be connected to 24V systems. The lamp is protected against radio interference in accordance with the ECE R10 standard. Two-year (24 months) warranty!

The heating works in the light whenever the light is on. In addition, it is possible to connect it to work even when the light is not lit, by connecting the power to the green wire.

Switching on the heating when the light is not on: The most common connections for the heating are either controlling it with its own switch or so that the heating is always on when the vehicle is running. In this way, the light can be kept dim even when the high beams are off, so that it is already dim when additional light is needed.

When controlling with a switch, the power cable is connected to e.g. the plus terminal of the battery or another fixed power point, from where the cable is pulled into the cockpit, connected to the switch, and from the switch is again extended to the green wire of the light. When connected in this way, the heating is always on when the switch is set to the ON position.
If you want the heating to always work when the vehicle is running, you should find a place/fuse in the engine room/fuse box that only gets power when the vehicle is running. When such a place is found, a wire is connected to it, the other end of which is connected to the green wire of the light. In this way, the heating is always on when the vehicle is running.
