TopAC Portable EV Charger is a powerful and versatile portable EV charger that delivers up to 11 kW of charging power at home, at your holiday home, at work or on the go. The charger is compatible with electric cars and plug-in hybrids equipped with a Type 2 connector, and its charging current can be adjusted between 6 and 16 A. Portable EV Charger plugs directly into a three-phase 16 A CEE power socket, eliminating the need for a separate fixed charging station. Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to monitor, schedule and remotely control charging directly from your smartphone. Its durable construction ensures reliable use both in the garage and outdoors.
The Shelly-compatible charger can be connected directly to the Shelly Smart Control app without a separate hub. The app lets you check the charging status and energy consumption, adjust the charging current, and set up schedules and automations. For example, charging can be scheduled for times when electricity prices are lower. The charging current can also be adjusted using the button on the charger, while indicator lights show the charging status and any faults. Built-in safety features, including residual current protection, ensure safe charging, while the IP65-rated control unit and IK08 impact resistance protect the charger against dust, moisture and knocks.
TopAC Portable EV Charger also supports automatic load balancing (Auto Balance), which automatically adjusts the EV charging power according to the electricity consumption elsewhere in the property. For example, when other high-power appliances are in use, the charger reduces the charging current and increases it again as other electricity consumption decreases. This makes the most of the available charging capacity and reduces the risk of overloading the electrical system. Automatic load balancing requires a separate compatible Shelly energy meter. Two-year (24 months) warranty!
