E-Bike rear light Lupine C14 V2 - 45 lm

The Lupine C14 is a rear light that is permanently mounted on an e-bike and powered directly from the e-bike's own battery. It is equipped with an intelligent acceleration sensor that automatically detects braking and temporarily increases the light output to signal to other road users that the cyclist is braking. The light mount replaces the saddle clamp (7Nm), i.e. the light is attached to the frame (not the saddle tube). It is also possible to attach the light to the saddle tube, provided that the felt is ground off. In this case, some kind of adapter (e.g. a thin rubber spacer) is still needed to clamp the light tightly to the saddle tube, which is slightly thinner than the frame. The lamp has a wide 240 degree beam, which increases the visibility of the cyclist to road users approaching from the side. The power switch is located under the light and is easy to operate, even with gloves on. Maximum light output 45 lumens. Available in 31.8 mm, 34.9 mm, 35.6 mm, 36.4 mm and 38.6 mm tubes, choose the right one from the product options. The luminaire is StVZO approved.

C14 is directly compatible with Shimano electronics. Also works with Bosch, Brose and Yamaha electronics, in which case you may need a separate adapter cable (not included) if the cable is not readily available on the bike. Adapter cables can be found here: Lupine eBike rear light cable.

NOTE! We recommend that the light is installed on the bike by a professional. The installation of the lamp may affect the warranty of the e-bike. On some bike models, the power plug for the motor light must be activated for use by an authorised service centre (e.g. Bosch). Please contact the manufacturer or importer for further information.
