Can-bus relay XBB PP-CAN-FD

XBB PP-CAN-FD is an intelligent CAN bus switching relay that, together with a specially designed wiring harness, enables the connection of additional lights to CAN bus-controlled vehicles without the need for an XBB Dongle control unit connected to the OBD port. The relay is connected in a Plug&Play manner to the specially designed wiring harness, which in turn is connected directly to the vehicle's CAN bus. When the wiring harness is connected to the car's CAN-Hi and CAN-Lo channels, the intelligent relay reads the high beam signal from the CAN bus and controls the additional lights according to this signal. Since the wiring harness is installed directly to the vehicle's CAN bus, a Dongle control unit connected to the OBD port is not required, but the diagnostic port remains free for other uses and the installation is neat and unobtrusive.

The relay has two 10A outputs (the outputs can be connected together if desired, creating one 20A output) and one analog input (pin-4), which can be used, for example, to manually control the outputs with a switch. If you want to install more lights in the vehicle, up to four other PowerUnit relays can be connected wirelessly to the gesture, in addition to which the XBB PowerUnit 6 and the XBB Smart Button can also be connected. The PP-CAN-FD relay is designed for today's vehicles that use the fast CAN-FD protocol.
