Moon Rigel Max-S is a powerful bike light with built-in battery and versatile mounting options, suitable for both off-road and road cycling. In a compact size, the Rigel Max-S offers an impressive 1600 lumens of light output and a range of up to 280 metres, according to the manufacturer. An included removable glare shield allows the beam to be tailored to suit different environments, for example, when riding in urban or city areas, the top edge of the beam can be broken up to prevent glare from other road users. The luminaire has two steady burning modes and three flashing modes, as well as a boost mode with a maximum output of 1600 lm. A special feature is the Variable Lumen System (VLS) technology, which allows the luminaire to be programmed with power modes between 50 and 1200 lumen. and an intelligent mode that senses the ambient light, turns off the light in the lit areas and turns it on again when entering a dark area. The package includes everything you need!

The included brackets allow the Rigel Max to be attached to both the bar and the helmet, and the ingenious quick attach/detach feature allows the lamp to be quickly snapped into a pocket for a trip to the shops, for example. In addition, the included GoPro adapter allows almost unlimited mounting possibilities for the popular camera system. The included remote control allows you to adjust the light output directly from the rod without removing the grip.

Quick guide

On/Off: Press and hold the switch for 1 second to turn the lamp on. The lamp switches off in the same way.

To change the power mode: change the mode (mode 1, mode 2, flash 1, flash 2, day flash) by pressing the switch while the lamp is on. Pressing the switch always changes to the next mode. To activate the boost mode, press the switch quickly twice in succession.

When the lamp is on, select the desired mode ofoperation for which you wish to program the light output. Press and hold the switch for about 4 seconds to adjust the light output (first the light will turn off, then it will start to change the output mode). Release the switch when the desired light output is reached. The lamp will flash twice to indicate maximum or minimum power.

Switching between manual and intelligent mode. The switch will flash green once when smart mode is on and blue once when manual mode is on.

Charging: switch off the lamp, open the silicone cover of the charging port on the back of the lamp and connect one end of the charging cable to the lamp and the other to the USB port.
