The Purelux Black Boost C560 Gen2 is part of the manufacturer's updated Black range, which brings top quality and high performance to a low price range. The upgraded C560 Gen2 has received both an external and internal facelift, with the Gen2 version introducing features such as a dual-colour parking light (orange and white) and two different power modes, as well as an upgraded light pattern. The two different power modes allow the led bar to be used with a unique selection integrated in the user interface (see "The new power modes"). More below) to activate either the more moderate power mode for road use, or the more powerful PowerBoost® mode for off-road use. With the road-approved power mode, the C560 Gen2 provides a measured light output of a modest 5988 lumens, and with PowerBoost® enabled, the measured light output from the led bar rises up to 12666 lumens with a measured range of an impressive 539 metres @ 1 lux.

Note! Thedifference between Purelux PowerBoost® and road mode is clearly visible in use - PowerBoost® mode is significantly more powerful and should not be used in normal road driving, only off-road.

The C560 Gen2's headlamp combines exactly the elements you need on a winding, dark road: a bright and clear main spotlight in the centre of the headlamp, offering a long range, with a wide lateral wedge from the side to the side of the road - starting right at the front. The beam is shaped flat with redesigned reflectors, so that light is not unnecessarily directed to the front of the bow or into the treetops. The main difference between the curved and straight models is the width of the beam: the curved body spreads the beam horizontally, with the main central wedge twice as wide as the straight model. Similarly, in a straight led bar, the entire light output of the main spot is directed straight ahead, maximising the range of the light. So when comparing wedges, if you are looking for a wide wedge and want to improve overall visibility, you should choose the curved version, but if your car's own lights illuminate the first 50-100 metres well and you want to invest in more range, the straight model is again the right choice. The colour temperature of the led bar is 5700 kelvin. In terms of size, the C560 Gen2 is an excellent choice, for example, for the front of a passenger car, either recessed in the air intake or for a traditional shield mount.

The light retains the black body and dark optics already evident in the name, giving the bar a sleek and contemporary look. In the Gen2 version, dark optics have also been introduced to the parking light, which means that the parking light bar running through the centre of the lens only stands out when the light is on, making the light stylish both on and off. The Black Series led bars feature powder-coated, durable aluminium alloy bodies and virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lenses, and are fully water and dustproof to IP69K rating. The bezel-free front of the headlamps prevents snow, ice and dirt from accumulating in front of the lens, which means that the headlamp is less likely to become obscured while driving than additional bezel-mounted headlamps.

Installation is easy using the DTP-2 connector provided on the light's power cord, and the included width-adjustable lower legs and end feet provide a wide range of mounting options. The wide operating voltage range (9-32V) allows installation on both 12V and 24V systems. The luminaire is radio interference immunity according to ECE R10 standard. Two-year (24 months) warranty!

Note! You can buy the above complete sets either as they are OR take in addition to them the XBB OBD Dongle & PowerUnit connection relay (see product options), with which the auxiliary light can also be connected to CAN-bus controlled lights. Instead of a traditional wiring harness, these sets come with a wiring harness with a Plug&Play-type place for the XBB relay (Relay wiring harness Purelux Dualrelay 12V, DTP). In short, the connection using the XBB relay is carried out by inserting the control device (OBD Dongle) into the OBD-II port of the car and placing the PowerUnit relay in a ready position in the supplied wiring harness next to the original relay of the wiring harness. The control device placed in the OBD port catches the high beam signal from the CAN bus and sends the information completely wirelessly to the relay in the wiring harness, which in turn controls the additional light according to this signal.

Changing the power mode with UI technology: the first time the lamp is used, it is lit in the E-approved mode. To change the power mode, turn the light off for 5 seconds, then turn the light on for 2 seconds, then turn the light off and on 3 times in 5 seconds to change the power mode. Repeat to change the power mode again.
