Auxiliary light set STRANDS Volvo V70 (2008-2016)

A complete, make-and-model specific auxiliary light package for 2008-2016 Volvo V70 vehicles. With this set, Strands' Siberia XP DR 22" or Siberia XP DRC 22" auxiliary light panel can be neatly installed on the front bumper of the above-mentioned vehicle, so that the panel sits elegantly flush with the grille below the license plate. The installation does not disrupt the appearance of the vehicle, but rather enhances it even more, and it is safer to drive with the help of additional lights. In addition to the additional light panel, the package includes all the brackets and screws needed for installation, a ready-made wiring harness, and installation and connection instructions. The brackets made of stainless steel and a strong aluminum alloy hold the panel firmly in place, even if the vehicle is constantly at the mercy of the weather. UV radiation, severe frost, or constant rain do not weaken the structures of the brackets or the additional light itself, but the installation remains neat and safe year after year.

Note! In many new cars, especially those equipped with LED and Xenon lights, the lights are controlled via the so-called CAN bus. For this reason, the lights no longer have their own power cable. If there is no cable in the trunk from which the excitation current can be tapped for the additional light, the excitation will have to be taken from the car's CAN bus. Installing an additional light on the CAN bus is slightly different from the traditional installation, and this connection requires a separate relay, such as the XBB - OBD Dongle & PowerUnit. If you suspect that you need a CAN relay for your connection, the car's importer or dealer will certainly help you with this.

Siberia XP DR is a modern auxiliary light series that offers both maximum performance and top quality in a stylish package. The series includes six different sized panels, and the Siberia XP DR 22" represents the middle size of its product family. Equipped with two different power modes and a combined beam, the XP DR 22" produces a light output of 13,050 lumens, which is impressive for its size, in the Xperience power mode intended for off-road use, according to the manufacturer, and a beam that can reach up to 853 meters @ 1 lux. In the more moderate power mode intended for road traffic, the light output is 1425 lumens and the range is 300 m @ 1 lux. In addition, the panel is equipped with a color temperature of 5700 Kelvin, which works more effectively than cooler tones even in poor conditions, such as snow and rain. The panel also features a white and yellow parking light, which can be activated whenever desired to use the so-called "Hello" function, which makes the parking light flash stylishly a few times as a greeting to other motorists. Siberia XP DRC is a modern, purely Off-Road designed additional light set consisting of curved lights, which offers both maximum performance and top quality in a stylish package. The set includes four different sized panels and the Siberia XP DRC 22" is the smallest model in the product family. Equipped with two different power modes and a wide combined light beam, the XP DRC 22" produces 13030 lumens of light output in the unlimited Xperience power mode and a wide light beam that can reach up to 616 meters @ 1 lux, according to the manufacturer. The panel is also equipped with a color temperature of 5700 Kelvin, which works more effectively than cooler tones even in poor conditions, such as snow and rain. It also has a white and yellow parking light, which can always be activated for use as a so-called "Hello" function, when the parking light flashes stylishly a few times as a greeting to other motorists. Due to its size, the Siberia XP DRC 22" is well suited for, for example, passenger cars, SUVs and vans. The lamp is not approved for road traffic!
