ATEX headlamp Petzl DUO Z2 (Zone 2/22)

Very efficient and waterproof battery-powered headlamp and helmet lamp. Developed for demanding professional and recreational use. Suitable for work in ATEX Zone 2/22 rated environments, cave crawling, orienteering and cycling. 430 lumens. Powered by 4 AA batteries.

The CONSTANT LIGHTING technology provides an even and constant light flow. FACE2FACE glare protection: when working in a group or playing sports in pairs with the lamps facing each other, the lamp automatically lowers the brightness, so that you do not dazzle each other. More effective and safer for the eyes. This feature is available on all Petzl Duo series headlamps.

Suitable for demanding professional and leisure use. Can be used with a headband on the head or on the helmet with the included helmet mounts for Petzl Alveo, Vertex or Boreo Caving.

Power modes

The rotatable power mode selector is easy to use even with gloves on. Five power modes mean that the lamp can be used in many different conditions and for many different tasks:

• Work at close range 12 h: wide light cone with relatively low brightness and long burning time (50 lm, 17 m)
• Lighting at close range 5 h: combination light cone for comfortable work at close range with a reasonably high brightness (120 lm, 30 m)
• Movement 2 h: Wide combination light cone for safe lighting for e.g. walk (220 ch, 80 m)
• Long range 2 h 45 min: Highly focused spot light for long range (180 lm, 120 m)
• BOOST searchlight mode: (430 lm, 115 m)

The constant light flow provides even lighting that lasts the entire battery life. The saving mode is switched on when the battery is almost empty, then the lamp shines with 10 lumen brightness for at least 1 hour. The battery case balances the lamp stably on the head and on the helmet. Compatible with alkaline batteries, lithium batteries and rechargeable Ni-Mh batteries.
