Purelux Dualrelay relay wiring harness is an innovative and easy solution for installing auxiliary lights in CAN bus-controlled vehicles. The wiring harness features an integrated Plug & Play socket for the XBB relay, which, together with the XBB OBD Dongle, allows the control signal for the auxiliary lights to be obtained directly from the vehicle’s CAN bus. When the XBB relay is used on its own, the power of the connected lights is limited, which can be an issue with more powerful auxiliary lights. When the XBB relay is connected to the Dualrelay wiring harness, it instead sends the control signal to the wiring harness’s own relay. This makes it easy to connect more powerful auxiliary lights without making any modifications to the wiring harness.

The wiring harness is available with two, three, or four outputs and allows 1–4 auxiliary lights to be connected, depending on the selected model. In addition to the DT-2 connectors, the wiring harness features a separate wire powered by the XBB relay’s “Output 2” channel. This can be used, for example, to connect the position lights of the auxiliary lights by connecting the white wire directly to the position light wire of the auxiliary light. The wiring harness is designed for 12 V systems. The maximum permitted load of the wiring harness depends on the selected model.

Note! In addition to the wiring harness, you also need the XBB OBD Dongle & PowerUnit connection relay. On this page, you can buy either just the wiring harness or a complete set, which includes the aforementioned switching relay and control device in addition to the wiring harness.
