Strands Pro XBB PowerUnit Wiring Harness is a wiring harness for Strands' auxiliary lights with built-in relay, which allows the aforementioned lights to be installed in CAN-bus-controlled vehicles together with the XBB Dongle & PowerUnit switching relay. The wiring harness has a control signal cable already integrated into output 1 and the parking light into output 2, and there is a Plug&Play installation location for the XBB PowerUnit relay. In addition, the wiring harness has an On/Off switch for operating the parking light. Suitable for auxiliary lights with a max. power of 15A / 180W. The wiring harness is 700 mm long and three DuraSeal heat shrink sleeves are also included in the delivery.

XBB OBD Dongle & PowerUnit is an innovative relay + control unit combination that receives excitation wirelessly from the CAN bus. In many new cars with high beams using LED or xenon technology, the lights can be controlled via the CAN bus, meaning that the excitation current cannot be tapped directly from the bulb's power cable in the traditional way. In this case, the auxiliary lights can be controlled using a control unit (XBB Dongle) that is inserted into the car's OBD-II port. The controller captures the high beam signal directly from the OBD port and sends the information wirelessly to a relay connected to the relay wiring harness (XBB PowerUnit), which in turn controls the auxiliary lights according to this signal.
