Purelux Strobe HD is a stylish and slim-framed warning light / level flasher, which is specially designed as part of the lighting of heavy equipment and work machines. Strobe HD is suitable for installation on the rear, side or bumper of a vehicle, for example, and thanks to R148 and R65XA2 approvals, it can be used not only on construction sites but also in road traffic. The slim frame and design ensure that the light fits neatly and inconspicuously into the vehicle's structures, but when the lights are switched on, it will not go unnoticed by anyone. Strobe HD is equipped with six orange 3W LEDs, and it has up to 26 different operating modes. Thanks to the wide operating voltage, the light can be connected to both 12V and 24V systems. If desired, several lights can also be synchronized to light up at the same time, for example, to provide uniform lighting for the entire work machine.

Strobe HD is approved for road use in accordance with the ECE R148 and R65XA2 standards. The R148 approval means that the light can be used as a turn signal in road traffic, and the R65 XA2 approval means that the light can be used as a warning light, and that it has both day and night modes. In day mode, the warning light is bright enough to be easily noticed in daylight, while in night mode, the light output of the flasher is lower so as not to dazzle the driver or other people moving in the area. The dimmer night mode can be activated using the green wire coming from the lamp cable. The stylish appearance combined with the small size ensure that the warning light fits practically any vehicle. The light is also radio interference-proof in accordance with the R10 standard. Two-year (24 months) warranty!

Strobe HD lights can also be synchronized with Purelux Strobe Sweeper HD warning lights. The Sweeper HD lights have fewer operating modes than the Strobe HD lights, but they can be synchronized by selecting the same operating mode for both lights and performing the light synchronization according to the user manual.

Note! Purelux Strobe HD is ECE R65XA2 approved, so it can be used in European road traffic! The XA2 marking in the approval means that the light has both day and night modes.

Installation guide

Coupling

• Red: Orange warning light (+)
• Black: Ground (-)
• Green: Turn signal (+)
• Blue: Synchronization, mode change, reset
  • Synchronization: select the same operating mode for the lights you want to synchronize, then connect the blue wires of the lights together. This way, the lights will flash in sync, and change operating mode (all together) when the operating mode of one light is changed.
  • Changing operating mode: Apply power (+) to the blue wire, which will change the light's operating mode. Can be done with a switch (the wire is connected to a battery or similar power source, and a push switch is placed in between)
• White: Night mode (+)

Synchronization: If desired, several lights can be connected to work together, so that the lights are synchronized with each other. For example, the warning lights of a large vehicle or work machine can be flashed in the same operating mode at the same time, so that the lighting is uniform. The lights can be synchronized with each other by connecting the blue wires coming from the light together. If some of the lights want to be installed to flash, for example, at a different rate than others, the lights can be grouped into either group 1 or group 2. This is achieved by using the blue wire for 7 seconds in the current (+), after which the group can be selected for the light: one flashing LED lights up in the light and it is placed in group 1. By using the blue wire again in the current for a second, two flashing LEDs light up in the light, so that it is placed in group 2. The same must be repeated for all the lights, so that they can be synchronized so that they flash at different rates, i.e. alternate. In this case, for example, half of a large number of lights can be set to flash at a different time than the other half. Of course, the alternation can be activated with just two lights. The synchronization works with lights of the same series, meaning all Strobe HD lights installed on the vehicle can be synchronized together.
