Shelly 1 Gen3 is a compact and versatile Wi-Fi smart relay that allows lighting, electrical devices, and even garage doors to be easily controlled remotely, scheduled, and automated. Equipped with potential-free relay contacts (dry contacts), the device is suitable for controlling both low-voltage circuits and mains-powered devices. The relay connects directly to the home Wi-Fi network without requiring a separate hub, and Matter support ensures compatibility with several popular smart home systems. Thanks to its compact size, Shelly 1 Gen3 can be discreetly installed behind a light switch or inside an electrical junction box.
Shelly 1 Gen3 enables electrical devices to be controlled through the Shelly Smart Control app, both at home and remotely. The app allows various schedules and automations to be configured, such as automatically turning lights on at sunset or switching them off at a specific time. The relay's potential-free contacts are electrically isolated from the device's own power supply, making it possible to control garage doors, gates, heating systems, and other devices that use a separate control contact. Shelly 1 Gen3 supports multiple operating voltages, making it suitable for a wide range of installations.
In addition to Wi-Fi connectivity, the device supports Bluetooth and can also function as a Wi-Fi range extender and Bluetooth gateway for other compatible devices. Matter compatibility allows the relay to be integrated with Apple Home, Google Home, and other Matter-compatible smart home systems.
