Shelly Dimmer Gen3 is a compact Wi-Fi smart dimmer that allows home lighting to be controlled without replacing existing switches. The smart dimmer enables brightness adjustment and the creation of various schedules and automations directly from a smartphone. The device supports several types of bulbs, including LED, halogen, and incandescent bulbs, while built-in power monitoring also enables tracking of energy consumption. Shelly Dimmer Gen3 operates both with and without a neutral wire and connects directly to the home Wi-Fi network without requiring a separate hub.
Shelly Dimmer Gen3 allows lighting to be controlled through the Shelly Smart Control app, both at home and remotely. Lights can also be controlled using conventional wall switches or push buttons, allowing traditional operation alongside smart features. The app enables various schedules and automations, such as automatically turning lights on at sunset or adjusting brightness according to the time of day. A dedicated night mode allows lighting to be automatically dimmed to a predefined level at selected times.
The dimmer also supports smooth fade-in and fade-out effects, as well as adjustable minimum and maximum brightness levels. Thanks to its compact size, the device can be discreetly installed behind an existing light switch. In addition to the Shelly Smart Control app, lighting can be controlled through compatible smart home systems, such as Amazon Alexa and Google Home. When used with a neutral wire, the dimmer also measures lighting energy consumption in real time. Three-year (36-month) warranty!
