Sensor interface SHELLY Plus Add-on

Shelly Plus Add-on is a compact sensor add-on that allows various sensors to be connected to compatible Shelly Plus, Gen3, and Gen4 devices, expanding their automation capabilities. The add-on module enables a wide range of sensor-based automations, such as controlling heating based on temperature, switching on lights using a motion sensor, or activating an irrigation system based on soil moisture levels. In addition, the analog and digital inputs allow various other sensors to be connected. Thanks to its galvanically isolated design, the module is suitable for a variety of home and building automation applications.

The compact Shelly Plus Add-on connects directly to a compatible Shelly device, which also supplies the power it needs, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. For instance, up to five DS18B20 temperature sensors can be connected to the module. Sensor data can be easily monitored and used in automations directly from a smartphone via the Shelly Smart Control app. The module does not have its own wireless connection, as data communication takes place through the connected Shelly device.
