Purelux Radar is a very small and flat reversing light approved for road use, with a carefully defined vertical beam, neutral 5000K color temperature and impact, water and dust resistant construction making it an excellent choice for low installation heights. Radar is only 9 cm wide and less than 2 cm thick, so it can be easily installed even in tight spaces. The light produces an excellent 2232 lumen light output for its size, which illuminates the terrain and obstacles behind it much better than standard vehicle reversing lights. Thanks to the innovative LED and reflector technology, Radar's beam is very flat vertically, but it opens up to 180° in width. The beam is therefore much wider than many other reversing lights of the same size on the market. The range of Radar's flat beam is 47 m @ 1 lux, so it offers the driver excellent visibility both to the sides and directly behind. Thanks to their small size, it is easy to install multiple lamps, e.g. in large vehicles, which means that the light output, beam width and range can be multiplied if necessary!

Purelux Radar is equipped with a color temperature of 5000K that is easy on the eyes, making it the optimal choice for working in both low light and pitch darkness. The neutral color temperature is bright enough to create a clear contrast between the light and possible obstacles, but it is not too bright to dazzle the driver in poor weather conditions, such as rain or snow. This makes it much easier to observe terrain, obstacles behind the vehicle, and people and animals. In addition to its excellent lighting properties, Radar is very easy to install: the light comes with a low and durable mounting base that allows it to be mounted very close to the bottom of the rear bumper, making it easy to aim the light exactly where you need it.

Purelux Radar is protected against water and dust according to the IP69K classification, and its robust body is made of an aluminum alloy that is extremely resistant to vibrations and impacts, and the surface is finished with a black powder coat that protects against corrosion, chemicals and UV radiation. The light can therefore be installed without worry under the rear bumper and near wheel arches and tires. The durable structure, small size and excellent light output for its size enable versatile use in various vehicles, from ATVs and passenger cars to construction machinery and heavy equipment. Radar is radio interference-protected according to the ECE R10 standard and approved as a reversing light according to the ECE R23 standard. The easiest way to connect the lights is to install them with a relay wiring harness in the same way as the auxiliary high beams (wiring harness can be purchased as a set). The power wire of the relay wiring harness is connected to the battery's positive terminal or some other place where there is a continuous power supply. The ground wire (black) is connected to the frame. After this, the power wire of the reversing light bulb is located in the car, from which the excitation current (the blue wire of the wiring harness) can be tapped either with a hijacking connector or properly, e.g. with a shrink-fit connector. This way, the additional reversing lights will turn on at the same time as the car's own reversing lights. The lights have DT-2 connectors that fit directly into the wiring harness.

In newer cars, the reversing lights do not necessarily have power, but the lights are controlled via the CAN bus. If the rear lights are LED, this is very likely. In this case, it is worth making the connection using an XBB smart relay, which can be tapped directly via the OBD port. The smart relay can be replaced directly in the relay wiring harness instead of a normal relay.
