Light laboratory Labsphere FS2

This is the equipment Valostore uses when we measure various characteristics of lamps. With this, among other things, we can measure and present real light fluxes (lumens), regardless of what the manufacturers state. Mostly we use this to measure flashlights but it can also be used to measure other lights. With Labsphere FS2 we can tell truthful information for our customers about the luminous power of the products we sell.

The Labsphere FS2 is specifically designed to measure light from flashlights, headlamps and other portable lighting. The equipment is made in the USA and consists of the following parts:

• 20-inch integrated sphere
• Absorption unit for light
• Standard light source to calibrate the equipment
• Power source, finely filtered so as not to disturb the measurement
• Spectrometer, connects to PC

With Labsphere FS2, you can, among other things, measure and obtain:

• Luminous flux (lumen)
• Color temperature
• RA numbers
• Spectra
• Chromaticity
• Burning times and luminous flux curves throughout the burning time
• ETC
