Olight Olantern is a very stylish and powerful LED lantern with a comprehensive, 360° light pattern. Perfect for the summer cottage, on the camping trip, on the hike or why not as a toy for the children. The small and compact (136 x 66 mm), but very efficient lantern has a luminous flux of 360 lm, which is more than enough to illuminate the tent, sauna or porch. Comes with two different LED modules: on one you will find 3 evenly luminous power modes, while the other gives a slightly flickering orange light that should imitate a real flame. It provides a luminous flux of 1 lumen and is perfect as a night light or mood lighting.

The Olantern's 1900 mAh battery can provide a burning time of up to 6.5 hours at full power, while the lowest power mode provides a full 80 hours of burning time. The battery is charged through – you guessed it – a very simple and convenient magnetic charger, just like all of Olight's newer flashlights and headlamps. You can also use the lantern while charging. Around the switch is a battery indicator that shows the remaining charge, while also making it easier to find the switch in the dark.

The construction of the lantern is very stable, and its upper and lower parts as well as the hanging hook are covered with a rubbery material that provides optimal grip. The material prevents the lantern from slipping out of the hands or sliding off slippery surfaces, while providing protection against shocks and impacts. The flexible hanging hook can be folded in to take up less space, or used to hang the lantern on a wall or on the tent roof. The lantern is protected against both water splashes and shocks corresponding to a fall from 1 meter, according to the IPX4 standard.

Quick guide

Turn on the lantern by pressing the switch once. The lantern remembers the last used power mode and lights up with it activated. You change the power mode by holding down the switch while the lantern is lit, which switches between the power modes in the following order: low, med and high. Release the switch to the desired power position.

Button lock: Hold down the switch at the bottom while the lantern is off. It then lights up temporarily in the Low mode, and goes out again when the button lock is activated. When the button lock is activated, the switch lights up red when pressed. You deactivate the button lock in the same way.

Changing the LED module: Unscrew the upper part of the lamp and detach it. Next, unscrew the existing LED module counterclockwise until it comes loose. Screw in the second module and screw on the top of the lantern again.

Charging: Connect one end of the charging cable to a USB port, and the magnetic end to the charging connector at the bottom of the lantern. A red light comes on, but changes to green as soon as the lamp is fully charged.
