Purelux Apex S500 is an additional light panel that fits directly in place of the vehicle's original license plate holder, and its installation has been made extremely easy. The innovative package consists of a customized holder and an additional light already integrated into it, the combination of which guarantees a really neat and, above all, easy installation. The package comes with handy adapter pieces, thanks to which this additional light assembly can replace both the European 520 mm wide license plate and the 442 mm wide license plate used in Finland, so that the edges of the foil valve holder are not unsightly visible.

The auxiliary light itself is equipped with two different power modes, a wide combination beam, a dynamic parking light that lights up in orange or white, and of course a modern design that fits seamlessly into the bumper of any vehicle. When using the full-power PowerBoost mode, the panel produces a measured light output of 8948 lumens and the beam extends up to 560 meters (@ 1 lux), ensuring good visibility both far ahead and to the edges of the road.

One advantage of Apex compared to many other additional lights is its relatively low power consumption despite its high light output, which makes it an excellent choice for electric cars, for example. The correctly dimensioned license plate holder with several pre-drilled mounting holes allows the use of existing mounting holes in the vehicle, which means that no major modifications need to be made to the front. This makes the light an excellent choice for leasing cars as well. Unlike many similar lights, the Apex S500's beam angle can also be adjusted using the screws on the ends of the license plate holder, meaning that alignment can only be done after installation. The license plate holder can therefore be installed completely straight, which guarantees a perfectly neat and finished result.

The Apex S500's beam is a good combination of both width and range. The height-limited beam is optimized for installation below the license plate, where the light is positioned closer to the road surface than normal, while an unlimited beam would reflect light from the road surface directly into the driver's eyes. The long range is achieved with a bright spot in the center of the beam that illuminates the road far ahead, while the main beam that spreads around the spot illuminates the edges of the road right from the neck.

In addition to the PowerBoost mode, the panel also has a more moderate power mode approved for road use, which, thanks to its lower light output, does not reflect light from, for example, snow, rain or fog back into the driver's eyes, but rather penetrates capricious visual obstacles better than high light output. In addition to the different power modes and the combined beam, the driving experience is also enhanced by the panel's neutral 5500K color temperature, which maximizes sharpness and accuracy, making it easier to observe forest animals running across the road and pedestrians and cyclists walking on the side of the road.

The body of the lamp is made of high-quality aluminum and the lens is made of highly durable polycarbonate, so it can withstand the inevitable stone chips and other minor impacts. The lamp is also protected from water and dust according to the highest possible tightness rating (IP69K), so the mud, salt water or slush splashing on the roads in spring and autumn will not affect its operation. The 100 cm long power cord and the DT-2 connector included in it make connection easy. Two-year (24 month) warranty!
