Fog light upgrade kit Mercedes Sprinter (2018+), Lazer Carbon-2 Drive

A complete, make-and-model-specific fog light upgrade kit / auxiliary light set for 2018 and newer Mercedes Sprinter vans. With this kit, 2 Lazer Carbon-2 Drive additional lights can be neatly installed in place of the original fog lights on the above-mentioned item, so that the end result looks like it came from the factory! The lights are delivered pre-installed in the left and right side lamp holders, which sit directly in place of the original fog lights. The upgrade kit can also be installed on models that do not have original fog lights, as the package comes with ready-made cutting templates that make it easy to find the correct installation location for the lights. The Carbon-2 Drive lights have additional high beam approval (R149), which means they can be used as additional lights in road traffic. The lights cannot directly replace fog lights, but instead act as additional lights. More lights below! Five-year (60-month) warranty!

The package includes two Lazer Carbon-2 Drive auxiliary lights, all necessary mounting brackets and screws, a ready-made wiring harness, and installation and connection instructions. The lamp holders are made of a highly durable composite material, which is particularly known for its strength and excellent resistance to UV radiation. The brackets are also completely weather and chemical resistant, ensuring that the installation remains neat year after year.

Note! In many new cars, especially those equipped with LED and Xenon lights, the lights are controlled via the so-called CAN bus. For this reason, the lights no longer have their own power cable. If there is no cable in the trunk from which the excitation current can be tapped for the additional light, the excitation will have to be taken from the car's CAN bus. Installing an additional light on the CAN bus is slightly different from the traditional installation, and this connection requires a separate relay, such as the XBB - OBD Dongle & PowerUnit. If you suspect that you need a CAN relay for your connection, the car's importer or dealer will certainly help you with this.

Lazer Carbon-2 Drive

The Lazer Carbon-2 Drive is a compact but highly effective auxiliary light, originally designed to meet the high demands of rally and track cars and other motorsports vehicles for lightness, small size and functionality. For this reason, one light is only 12 cm wide and weighs a meager 192 grams, but still produces 3120 lumens of light output. The Carbon-2 Drive light has two different operating modes: unlimited Boost mode (E-approved) and the so-called "Dip mode" (NOT E-approved), in which the light color changes to yellow and the light beam is directed downwards. This feature is excellent, for example, in poor weather conditions, as the yellow light penetrates fog, water or snowfall better than bright light. The white light is equipped with a neutral 5000K color temperature, which maximizes sharpness and resolution even at high speeds.
