The Nitecore P40 is a powerful flashlight designed for demanding professional and hobby use, producing a maximum light output of 2000 lumens and a beam that reaches an incredible 2900 meters. Despite the characteristic appearance of a searchlight and its long range, it is not a purebred searchlight, as the same lamp also has a separate wide beam and a combination beam that combines a narrow and wide beam. The same lamp can therefore be used for demanding search and patrol tasks, for extensive illumination of nearby terrain, and in all situations where visual contact is needed both far and near at the same time. The three separate beams have been implemented by combining innovative LED, lens and reflector technology, which together enable the formation of different beams without compromise. All beams also have multiple power modes, so the amount of light and the beam can always be adjusted optimally to the situation at hand.

Because the P40 is a very powerful light, it has a built-in adaptive Cruise Mode that automatically adjusts the light output based on the angle of illumination: when the lamp is pointed straight ahead, the light uses full light output, but if the light head is pointed at a steep angle downwards, the light reduces the light output to better suit the object being illuminated. This allows for easy and uncomplicated use of the light in changing environments without the need to constantly adjust the light. In terms of features and functions, the P40 can be said to be the perfect light for authorities, soldiers, rescuers, explorers, hikers and anyone who wants one light for all purposes!

The Nitecore P40 is powered by a high-performance 5500 mAh battery that offers up to 20 hours of continuous use in the lowest power mode. The battery indicators integrated into the lamp body ensure that the user is never left short of power, and when the battery runs out, the lamp can be quickly recharged using modern USB-C charging technology. Although it is a powerful lamp, it is smaller and lighter than many other searchlights on the market, making it easy to operate with one hand. The lamp has a tactical tail switch and two side switches embedded in the body, the placement of which has taken into account the natural grip of the lamp and the easiest possible use of the switches, following the grip. The shock-resistant P40 is protected from water and dust according to the IP68 rating, and it can withstand immersion to 2 meters, so it is suitable for even the most demanding environments. Quick guide

On/Off: Turn on the light by pressing the tail switch all the way down until you hear a clicking sound and the light turns on. Turn off in the same way.

Momentary operation: To operate the light momentarily, press the tail switch halfway down. Release the switch to turn the light off.

Switching power mode: When the light is on, short press button A to switch power mode. The power modes will change as follows with each press: Low → Mid → High → Turbo. If you want to adjust in the opposite direction, short press button B, the power modes will cycle as follows: Turbo → High → Mid → Low. The light is equipped with a memory function, so it will always turn on in the last power mode used

Turbo: Activate turbo momentarily by pressing and holding the A button while the light is on.

Changing the beam pattern: When the light is on, press and hold the B button to change the beam pattern. The beams will change as follows: Wide beam → Narrow beam → Combination beam. Release the switch at the desired beam pattern. The next time the light is turned on, it will automatically turn on with the last beam pattern active.

Adaptive Dimming: With the light on, press and hold both the A and B buttons until the light flashes twice to indicate that adaptive dimming is on. Release the switches to activate the combination beam. To return to the previous brightness level, briefly press the A or B button. The adaptive dimming feature remains active even if the light is turned off. When the light is turned back on, it will automatically return to this mode. Exit the mode manually if the function is not required.

Charging: Open the cover on the USB-C charging port. Connect one end of the charging cable to the light and the other end to a USB port on your computer, a power bank, or an AC outlet with an AC adapter. The battery level indicators show the battery charge as follows:

• Steady light: More than 50% battery remaining
• Slow blinking light: Less than 50% battery remaining
• Fast blinking light: Battery level less than 10%
