Shelly RC Snubber is a compact interference suppressor designed to protect Shelly smart relays and other electrical components from voltage spikes caused by switching electrical devices on and off. The energy absorbing circuit is especially useful when controlling devices such as LED lighting, fans, refrigerators, air conditioners and transformers. It helps reduce switching-related voltage and current spikes, improving the reliability of Shelly relays and helping to extend their service life.
Shelly RC Snubber consists of a resistor and capacitor that suppress voltage spikes generated in an electrical circuit. The circuit is connected in parallel with the controlled electrical load, as close to the load as possible. Thanks to its compact design, it can also be installed in confined electrical installation spaces. RC Snubber is suitable for use with compatible Shelly relays, particularly when controlling motors, transformers or other inductive loads. Three-year (36-month) warranty!
Note! RC Snubber must be installed in parallel with the controlled electrical device, not in series. The need for and compatibility of the suppressor should be checked in the installation instructions of the Shelly device being used. Fixed electrical installations must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
