Osram Halotronic is a dimmable transformer designed for halogen and LED lamps and other low-voltage lamps that require low-voltage power to function properly. In practice, the transformer changes the 230V home electrical network to a lower voltage (11-12V) so that the low-voltage lamps work properly. It can be installed, for example, in place of an old halogen transformer if the LED bulbs installed in place of halogen bulbs flicker, do not light up or their dimming does not work properly. The transformer is available in two different versions, either a version for a 20-74W load or a version for a 30-105W load. Intended for dry indoor areas according to the IP20 classification.
Compatible with AGGE's dimmable Ceramic MR16 bulbs with spot and flood beam.
NOTE! If the old transformer is replaced with a new for the LED bulbs, we recommend also upgrading the dimmer to an LED dimmer, such as the AGGE Universal Rotary Dimmer. This will avoid problems when the old dimmer reaches the end of its service life.
