Canbus Relay Modernum Digital Lightning 1150 (for newer modern cars)

The box detects the digital signals and supplies power to retrofitted additional lights. Modernum Digital Lightning works on several modern cars incl. for example. new Volvo XC40, XC60, S90, S90L, V90CC and XC90 with active LED headlights.

Specially adapted to the vehicle's adaptive light for glare reduction, the Digital Lightning 1150 is the optimal additional light equipment for the user in need of a multi-competent and affordable product. To disable the function of the Digital Lightning 1150:

Digital Lightning 1150 is always delivered in an active mode. If you want to deactivate its function, then follow the instruction below. This also applies when you want to activate the function again.

1. Leave the main beam off for at least 5 seconds.
2. Activate the configuration mode by flashing the main beam 10 times for 5 sec, i.e. 500 ms between each flash.
3. Wait 1 second.
4. The high beam now turns on to indicate that configuration mode has been successfully activated. Configuration mode is now unlocked for 5 sec.
5. Flash the high beams once during configuration mode to toggle between "enabled" or "disabled" mode.
6. Wait until the main light turns off, indicating that configuration mode is locked again.
7. Confirm that the configuration is finished by flashing the main beam 10 times for 5 sec, i.e. 500 ms between each flash.
8. Wait 1 second.
9. The Digital Lightning 1150 will now indicate that it has saved the configuration by flashing the main light as follows:
   - One long flash: The high beam function is deactivated.
   - Two short flashes: The high beam function is activated.

ATTENTION! Immediately after installing the Digital Lightning 1150, the ignition should be switched on and the headlights should be set to "Auto" mode. When the starting sequence of the headlights is complete, the high beams must be activated for at least 5 seconds so that the Digital Lightning 1150 can calibrate itself against the car's system. This maneuver only needs to be performed once after installation. When the calibration is complete, the Digital Lightning 1150 will flash the main light 3 times to indicate that everything is ready and that the configuration is saved.
