Cable cover PURELUX Wire Hider

Purelux Wire Hider is a 150 cm long rubber cable channel designed for neat installation of wiring, for example for driving lights and work lights. The cable channel allows wiring from lights mounted on the roof of a vehicle to be routed neatly and discreetly into the engine bay, for example along the edge of the windshield. The channel attaches to the mounting surface with strong 3M adhesive tape, which keeps it securely in place even on rough roads. Its flexible and easily shaped construction allows installation on practically any vehicle, and if needed, several channels can be installed end to end to create a neat solution even for roof installations on larger vehicles.

The channel can also be shortened simply by cutting it to the desired length, making it easy to adapt to each installation. In addition to driving light and work light installations, the Wire Hider can be used for the neat installation of practically any cable and in any situation where a flexible solution for cable routing is needed. The cable channel accommodates cables with a maximum diameter of 12 mm.

Quick guide

For the best adhesion, installation should be carried out at room temperature. In cold conditions, it is recommended to warm the mounting surface to room temperature before installation.

1. Clean the mounting surface thoroughly. If possible, use an alcohol-based cleaner to remove grease.
2. Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape, position the Wire Hider in the desired location, and press it firmly against the mounting surface for 30 seconds.
3. Allow the adhesive to bond for 24 hours. The bonding time can be shortened by warming the mounting surface.
4. After the adhesive has bonded, check that the Wire Hider is securely attached by pulling it gently.
