Auxiliary light set STRANDS Ford Transit Connect (2025+)

A complete, all-in-one make and model specific auxiliary lighting package for 2025 and newer Ford Transit Connect vans. With this set, 2 Strands Firefly 10, Nuuk D-Line 10 or Siberia XPA DR 8" auxiliary lighting panels can be neatly installed on the front grille of the above-mentioned item so that the panel remains stylishly flush with the front grille. The installation does not disturb the appearance of the vehicle, but rather improves it even more, and it is safer to drive with the help of additional lighting. In addition to the additional light panels, the package includes all the brackets and screws needed for installation, a ready-made wiring harness, and installation and connection instructions. The brackets made of stainless steel and a strong aluminum alloy hold the panel firmly in place, even if the vehicle is constantly at the mercy of the weather. UV radiation, severe frost, or constant rain do not weaken the structures of the brackets or the additional light itself, but the installation remains neat and safe year after year.

Note! In many new cars, especially those equipped with LED and Xenon lights, the lights are controlled via the so-called CAN bus. For this reason, the lights no longer have their own power cable. If there is no cable in the trunk from which the excitation current can be tapped for the additional light, the excitation will have to be taken from the car's CAN bus. Installing an additional light on the CAN bus is slightly different from the traditional installation, and this connection requires a separate relay, such as the XBB - OBD Dongle & PowerUnit. If you suspect that you need a CAN relay for your connection, the car's importer or dealer will certainly help you with this.

Strands Firefly 10"

Strands Firefly 10" is a sleek and stylish additional light panel designed to both illuminate the road ahead and blend in seamlessly with the front of any vehicle. Despite its small size, Firefly offers 5010 lumens of light output and a beam of light that can reach up to 363 meters (1 lux), and if two panels are installed side by side, the range increases to over half a kilometer. The lamp's very low, less than 4 cm high frame allows installation even in tight spaces, and thanks to its sleek design, the light can easily become a seamless part of the vehicle. Firefly's modern look is completed by a stylish parking light bar running along the bottom edge of the lens, which can be set to glow either orange or white.

Strands Nuuk D-Line 10"

Strands Nuuk D-Line 10" is a very sleek and compact additional light panel, equipped with excellent performance, an orange or white parking light, and a modern appearance. In addition, the lamp has two different power modes: the unlimited Xperience mode designed for off-road driving and the more moderate E mode, which is approved for road use. In Xperience mode, the lamp produces 5500 lumens of light output, according to the manufacturer, and a narrow beam of light with a range of up to 376 meters (@ 1 lux), which is designed to support the wide high beams of modern vehicles by adding more range to the beam instead of width.

Equipped with a combination beam, the XPA DR 8" produces, according to the manufacturer, a light output of 2002 lumens and a beam of up to 435 meters @ 1 lux, which is excellent performance for a panel of this size. In addition, the panel is equipped with a color temperature of 5700 Kelvin, which works more effectively than cooler tones even in poor conditions, such as snow and rain. The panel also has a white and orange parking light.
